Because of the complicated ground conditions around the underground pipe and therefore caused statistical errors from the regression analysis, ground thermal properties cannot be accurately solved by using existed heat transfer models and thermal response tests. Discusses the ground lumped thermal resistance analysis method which eliminates the influences of explanatory variables, further establishes a ground lumped thermal resistance metering model by a metrological error analysis system, which gets rid of the complicated influences of relevant uncertain disturbances, and transfers this heat transfer problem to a thermal metering analysis problem, thus makes it easier to calculate the hourly heat exchange per unit tube length under different input and output temperatures and initial soil temperature conditions according to the hourly lumped thermal resistance. The actual measured data analysis results from several projects verify the effectiveness of this model and its solution system.
